During PROMISE we had various opprtunities to connect with our cohort. The first day, orientation, we had a whole day to meet the other interns, play games and just socialize. Throughout the internship, We meet as a cohort at different Cultural Centers or at the SEC to invite guest speakers to talk about different areas of professional development. We also had POD Groups, where we as a cohort were seperated into groups of 5 and had the chance to talk about our project(s) and/or go further in depth with topics that coordinators or guest speakers brought to us.
